Point of Sale ( POS ) systems are used in supermarkets, restaurants and shops. The POS controller offers a low cost embedded solution which can be expanded with networking options to build a large network of POSs.

The POS-I is a versatile design, aimed at providing all features essential in a POS at a low cost of ownership. It provides interface ports to printers, PC connectivity through serial port, separate port for bar code reader, different display options, non-volatile storage of transactions, and features for networking 31 stations onto a single serial port on the PC.

Software features provided include simple Windows based programs, whereby the user can change his key designations, rates, etc.
